I know how hard it is to be there for someone and help them fix something that you don’t even know how or why it happened. It’s tiring to be there for someone in an instant or in just a text.
You’re actually the person who loves with everything he or she has without asking for anything in return and it’s just so pure kindness. That sometimes, you’ll exceed to the point of making their problems yours, just so they don’t have to face it alone. It’s okay to save and help people.
I know what it’s like to feel like being guilty when ignoring those people who seeks help from you. You want to give them hope. You want to save them. The reason behind this is that you simply know what it feels like to be in their situation. You know how hard it is to face problems alone. You know how it feels like everything’s against you and you cannot do anything about it. It’s like your drowning.
It’s fulfilling helping others but the problem with this is that, you’re starting to feel like you don’t need anyone. You start to convince yourself that whatever happens, you can do it on your own since you are the person who fixes everything. Just because you save people doesn’t mean you need to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. You are deserving to have a person who saves you too. You deserve to have a person who’s there for you in an instant. You deserve someone who loves you without expecting anything back from you, the same way you do to others.
It’s okay to save people. It’s okay to feel and be strong for yourself. It’s okay to stand up for yourself but in this cruel world, at some point in your life, you’re going to need help from others too. Don’t hesitate when that day comes. Everyone has their own weakness. No one’s perfect.
